'Jungle Beach' Rs 700m hotel project initiated

Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa, laid the foundation stone for the Jungle Beach Resort, Kuchchaweli, Trincomalee, on Saturday.

This hotel will be constructed at a cost of Rs 700 million by the International Construction Consortium (Pvt) Ltd and Finco Group.

Economic Development Deputy Minister Lakshman Yapa Abayawardana,Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development Deputy Minister Susantha Punchinilame, Finance and Planning Ministry and Economic Development Ministry Secretary Dr P B Jayasundara and Tourist Development Authority officials also participated at this occasion.
