Six days to deliver telegram

A telegram sent on May 6 from the Slave Island Post Office to Galle Post Office of Kuleegoda has taken six days to be delivered. The telegram was received at the other end on May 12 at 6.45 pm. The recipient, AF de Silva of Kuleegoda has complained this delay to the Post Master General on May 7 and he has called for a report from the Deputy PM, Galle South. So far explanation has not been received, de Silva said.
