Delegation at a special Buddhist ceremony at the
International Buddhist Centre, Wellawatta.

A special Buddhist delegation from Malaysia and Thailand arrived in
the island recently to take part in the Sambuddhatva Jayanthi
celebrations. They attended a special religious ceremony at the
Internatioal Buddhist Centre, Wellawatta conducted by Ven Maharagama
Mahinda Nayake Thera.
The Maha Sangha representing 25 Viharayas in Thailand and Malaysia
along with about one hundred Buddhist representatives took part in the
ceremony. This occasion was also attended by veteran Astrologer
Ranaweera Arachchige and a number of others. |
