Mora hockey 7s back again

All plans are set for the Mora hockey 7s 2011 which is to be held on May 5 at University of Moratuwa ground. The tournament was initiated about a decade ago and it was interrupted in last few years due to some unavoidable reasons. But again with the help of alumni members and well-wishers, Hockey Club of University of Moratuwa has revived the tournament again.

Tournament committee has invited all the hockey playing universities and they are hoping that they will get a good response. Around 20 teams have sent confirmations to the tournament.

This will be a great opportunity to university level stickers (both men and women) to show their colours and bring glory to their institutes.

There are 11 universities in Sri Lanka who are playing hockey but SLUSA inter university tournament will be the only one that they get for a year. So this tournament will build the skill and confidence of players and also a way to grow mutual relationships among universities.
