Next govt, TNA meeting on May 12

The government delegation consisting of Ministers Nimal Siripala de Silva and Prof G L Peiris and MPs Sajin de Vass Gunawardena and Prof Rajiva Wijesinha held their fifth round of discussions with the TNA delegation which comprised R. Sampanthan, Suresh Premachandra, M. Sumanthiran and K. Kanag-iswaran PC, on April 29 at the Presidential Secretariat.

The delegation agreed to have their next meeting on May 12, 2011.

A candid discussion took place in respect to the salient features of these documents, and areas of broad agreement were identified.

The two delegations reviewed the progress made with regard to the documents which had been submitted at previous meetings for consideration and decided on modalities for continuing work on these issues systematically within a short period as possible.
