Bad weather claims seven

Seven people were killed due to bad weather during the last four days.

Disaster Management Centre Spokesperson Pradeep Kodippili said that these persons drowned in flood waters and were struck by lightning. He added that 24,153 persons are affected by floods in Kalutara, Ratnapura and Ruwanwella districts but no one is displaced so far.

He said that some of the roads in these areas and Meerigama are inundated.
