ACCA launches FIA

With the purpose of creating more benefits for the talented people in the country ,irrespective of their prior educational background ,the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) launched recently its new entry level suite of awards “Foundations in Accountancy (FIA) which will be examined in December 2011.

Following the detailed consultation with professional accountancy bodies, regulators and others, the above qualification has been created to cater to the rising demand for qualified accountants who have both a practical as well as an ethical knowledge required for today’s business.

Foundations in accountancy consists of awards including certificates, diplomas and revised certified accounting technician qualification which focus on the core skills of financial accounting and management accounting and the wider role of accounting in business at a higher level, making it the most attractive and relevant choice for the employers today.
