Sportsman Kulatunge heads Dharmaraja OBU

K M R Kulatunge, an outstanding sportsman of Dharmaraja College, Kandy has been selected as the President of the Old Boys Union of Dharmaraja for the year 2011 at the Annual General Meeting held recently at the College Auditorium.

He represented the school in Soccer and Hockey in early seventies and as an athlete he won the Triple Jump and Javelin throw at the Inter-House meets for two successive years. He was also a School Cadet who became a sergeant in the School Battalion and was promoted to the rank of Warrant Officer in the year 1974.

He was an Electro Mechanical Technician who was a diploma holder from Mumbai India and a trained technician for Electrical Overhead Travel Cranes in Germany. He started serving the Dharmaraja College Old Boys Union as a Committee member and then became a Vice President for a number of years.

His main idea is to enrol more members to the Old Boys Union and also to help the School to improve in the Academic field and Sports.
