Remanded for selling archaeological treasures

Seven persons were remanded by the Kuliyapitiya Magistrate for trying to sell archaeological treasures worth Rs 1.3 million.

They were arrested by the Narammala police while they were selling the treasures to a businessman in Narammala.

Narammala Police OIC P Kumaradasa, S I Namal Perera (Crime), S I Bandara, P S Ranasinghe, PC Sampath and PC Subasinghe conducted the raid.
