Schols to enter universities

The Parents Memorial Scholarship Foundation has selected 57
University students for the year 2011 awards. The selections had been
made by calling for applications from students from under-privileged
families, but academically qualified to enter universities according to
their results of 2010 G.C.E (A-L) Examination. So far 154 students had
been benefited under the project.
The foundation had initiated this project in 2006, to commemorate the
late Principal M Wijesena Kiriwattuduwa.
Out of 800 applications the foundation had selected 57 students for
the awards and each selectee will be granted a sum of Rs.1,500 per month
during the 1st year of their studies for the period of 12 months.
The scholarships presentation ceremony will be held in May, 2011. For
