Most anticipated royal marriage

If there was any day that you would want to go absolutely perfect
without hiccups I'm guessing that a lot of you would say it would be
your wedding day. And believe it or not it is this day that give most
couples the jitters because you want it to be simply perfect.

Therefore, it is perfectly understandable that Prince William and
Kate Middleton would be feeling nervous given the fact that they will be
married in front of thousands and watched by millions worldwide. A
normal wedding between two people who are not public figures is enough
to cause some form of nervousness so just imagine one that involves the
world.
There will be of course comparisons between Prince Charles' wedding
and that of his sons. Like his father before him, Prince William will be
marrying a commoner. There will be comparisons between Lady Diana
Spencer and Kate Middleton - both having to live up to the epitome of
womanhood in the eyes of an adoring nation. So this does lead to a
definite comparison between the weddings.

fiancee Kate on its bags and is being created at a Hamburg

The wedding of Prince William of Wales and Kate Middleton is
scheduled to take place at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011. Prince
William, who is second in the line of succession to Queen Elizabeth II,
first met Middleton in 2001, while he and Middleton were studying at the
University of St Andrews.
Unlike Prince Charles and Diana, who opted for a summer wedding (July
29, 1981), William and Kate are going in for a spring affair with their
wedding.
Kate Middleton (29 years) will be considerably older than 20-year-old
Diana was on her wedding day. William, on the other hand, is on the
young side, beating his father to the aisle by four years.

Westminster Abbey |
While Prince Charles and Diana opted for the expansive St Paul's
Cathedral, Prince William and Kate have decided to follow in the Queen's
footsteps and have their nuptials at Westminster Abbey. Prince William
and Kate will be inviting 2,000 guests to their big day - 1,500 short of
Charles and Diana's mega-wedding.
The pre nuptial jitters are the least of their worries for this
handsome young prince and his beautiful bride. England's police are
taking into account the possibility of a terrorist attack and will be
maximizing security and taking all precaution to see that the wedding
goes safely. But one thing is for sure - this event will be the most
memorable event in the British History and the media will have its day.
In 1997, Prince William shed tears at his mother's funeral as a result
of a car chase with the paparazzi (the Italian Media).
On April 29, he will be marrying Catherine Middleton who will also
take on the responsibility of being a public figure in the eyes of the
press and the people of the world. It is no secret that the late Lady
Diana Spencer had a turbulent relationship with the Media. Time will
tell how Kate handles it. |
