Sri Lanka Insurance opens at Motor Traffic branch
Sri Lanka Insurance (SLI) and the Department of Motor Traffic (DMT),
joined hands to provide essential insurance services at the DMT premises
with the opening of the Sri Lanka Insurance DMT branch in Werahera.

This new branch was inaugurated by Sri Lanka Insurance Chairman
Gamini Senarath and the Motor Traffic Commissioner B D L Dharmapriya
yesterday. Customers now have access to a range of motor insurance
services offered by Sri Lanka Insurance at the DMT branch, in addition
to obtaining the newly introduced learner driver cover.
The Learner driver cover was introduced to service over 2000 learner
drivers who visit the premises daily.
The learner driver insurance covers any third party risks for
property and bodily injury and personal accident covers for the insured.
Sri Lanka Insurance claims the position of the largest and strongest
composite insurance provider in Sri Lanka, with a managed asset base
that stands at Rs 88 billion, over Rs 6 billion in capital and a life
fund of around Rs 50 billion.
SLI is backed with very strong re-insurance arrangements, a highly
experienced technical knowledge base and the widest network across the
country.
