Naibei wins Milan marathon

Kenyan Solomon Naibei won the men's event in the Milan City marathon on Sunday while Italian Marcella Mancini claimed victory in the women's event. Naibei won in a time of 2hr 10min 38sec with Italian Ruggero Pertile second and Kenyan Daniel Too in third. Mancini's time of 2hr 41min 24sec was well outside a world-class mark with Kenya's Monica Kanyata Wangari second and Italian Stefania Benedetti in third.
