Thilini U-17 shuttle champ

Thilini Hendihewa clinched the girls under 17 title when she defeated Madushika

Dilrukshi in the final of the Ariyadasa De Silva Memorial Badminton Championship which concluded at Dharmasoka College indoor sports complex recently.

Thilini beat Hashini Malsha in the semi-final while the runner up Madushika

overcame Isuri Kamalka Fernando in the other semi final to reach the final.

The final was all Thilini's where she had a comprehensive victory over Madushika at 21-04, 21-08.
