Mathematical performances of teachers

Colombo International School was greatly honoured to be told by Edexcel London examination board that it had achieved the greatest number of ‘A’ passes in the summer 2010 Mathematics IGCSE examinations.

“This is a great achievement and I know the teachers in our Mathematics department will be overjoyed when I tell them. It is a great credit to their expertise and hard work,” said a spokesman for CIS.

The Mathematics department was offered the chance to travel to India and help with the revision of students studying for this summer’s IGCSE mathematics examination, at the expense of Edexcel. However, with this summer’s examinations so close felt it was too late in the year to accept this kind offer from Edexcel.

The time of the Maths teachers at Colombo International School is, as you might expect, fully concentrated on their own students at present in the hope that they can repeat their great success in gaining the highest number of ‘A’ grades again this summer and for many years to come.
