Six killed in Pakistan blast
PAKISTAN: Six people including a Baluch tribal elder were killed by a
remote-controlled bomb in a southwestern Pakistani town near the Iranian
border on Thursday, officials said.
The fireball engulfed the car of tribal elder Reham Dil in Quar town
in the insurgency-hit Baluchistan province, local police official Abdul
Salam said.
"Reham Dil, his son, three guards and one servant died in the blast,"
he said.
A local administration official confirmed the casualties, saying that
the blast set the car alight and two of the bodies were charred.
