8th Battle of the two cities Rahula takes major honours

The 8th battle of the two cities ended in a draw at the Uyanwatta
Stadium Matara needing 173 to win the Aloysians ended the day at 119/6
in 47 overs.
Rahula were put into bat was restricted to 198 in 55.1 overs. V.K.
Kettawasinghe scored 87 while Johan Wijesekera captured 3/54 and Bimsara
Samarakoon did well to claim 2/27.
Rahula did well to dismiss the visitors for 120 runs in 39.3 overs.
Vice captain Rusiru Uyanahewa claimed 5/32 bowling his right arm off
spinners, other right arm offie Prasanna Ekanayaka took 3/17. Opener
Chanaka Dhanushka 22 and Chathura Madushan 21 were the top scorers.
St. Aloysius their second innings scored of 94/5 off 21 overs. Opener
Piushan Kulatunga was unbeaten on 32 and Nadun Tharanga scored an
unbeaten 26. Krishan Santhusha took 2/31.
The Aloysians scored 119/6 in 47 overs at the end of play. Opener
Chanaka Dhanushka scored an unbeaten 51 with five fours and a six.
Prasanna Ekanayaka took 3/46 and Rusiru Uyanahewa 2/34. Mayura
Galappaththi claimed 1/8.
