Rajakaruna in final

The local champion Upali Rajakaruna booked his place in the main draw's singles final of the Second SSC Open International Wheelchair Tennis Tournament and will meet the South African rival Sydwell Mathonsi today.

Sri Lankans Anosha Amaratunga, Umesha Alahakoon and Ukrainian Olena Shyngarova will also be seen in action in the women's singles events of the tournament which will be continued today at the Sinhalese Sports Club courts.

Rajakaruna defeated Evans Maripa (South Africa) in the second semi final 5/7,6/3,6/3. Mathonsi outplayed Abu Samah Borhan (Malaysia) in the first semi final 4/6,6/1,6/1. Finals will be worked off today at the SSC tennis course today.
