The Sabaragamuwa University undergraduates decided to boycott the
semester examination from yesterday. Over 400 students will boycott the
examination, a Student Union spokesperson told the Daily News.
Undergraduates urged University officials to remove the class
suspension of 58 students. The university administration had scheduled
to start examination yesterday for First, Second and Third year students
of the Applied Science Faculty. "Students were suspended on false
information. We will continue until this suspension is removed." Four
faculties of the Sabaragamuwa University have been closed indefinitely
except the Applied Sciences Faculty. |
