First innings win for Cambrians

Prince of Wales College has to be satisfied with a first innings win in their inter-school Under-19 cricket tournament match against Nalanda Vidyalaya played at Moratuwa.

Resuming at 34 for 1 in reply to Cambrians' total of 284 runs visitors were all out for 263.

Prince of Wales: 284 and 83/4 (Chanaka Fernando 30, Rajeev Perera 33 n.o, Sangeeth Gunawardena 3/37).

Nalanda: 34 for 1 overnight, 263 (Prashan Wickramasinghe 91, Gayan Maduwatte 62, Malindu Vimukthi 33, Hashan Fernando 4/40, Namidu Maduranga 4/64, Shehan Jayasuriya 2/35).
