Indika sparkles as Ragama pile up 412/4

Dashing middle order batsman Indika de Saram scored his third successive century (157) from just 132 deliveries inclusive of eight sixes and 16 boundaries as Ragama CC piled up a massive 412 for 4 in their first innings on the opening day of their SLC Premier League Tier ‘A’ cricket match against CCC which began at Maitland Crescent yesterday.

Chanaka excels

Sri Lanka discard paceman Chanaka Welagedera snapped up four wickets for 67 to help Tamil Union dismiss the defending champions Chilaw Marians CC for a modest 204 runs in their first innings on the opening day of their SLC Premier League Tier ‘A’ cricket match which began at Katunayake yesterday.
