The annual Inter-House Sports Meet of Christ Church Girls College Baddegama was held at the Kumme Public Grounds at Baddegama recently.

Melville House with 160 points emerged champions of the sports meet. 'Balding' House came second with 147 points. 'Mayer' House finished third with 107 points. 'De Mel' House was fourth with 96 points.

Hambantota District MP Namal Rajapaksa graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Galle District MPs Nishantha Muthuhettigama and Manusha Nanayakkara, Southern Provincial Councilors Ven Baddegama Samitha Thera, Sampath Athukorala, Lasantha Wijenayaka and K P Sisira Kumara, National Lotteries Board Director Ravi Abeywardena, Southern Provincial Road Passenger Transport Authority Chairman Janak Priyantha Illesinghe, Baddegama Divisional Secretary P S Gunawardana, Galle Education Director Kithsiri Liyanagamage, Deputy Director of Education Baddegama Malani Gunarathna, OIC Baddegama Police Station N de Silva, The Manager People's Bank Baddegama Gamini Dharmasiri, Galle District Scout Commissioner and the Principal St Anthony's College Baddegama Nihal Gurusinghe, The Principal Christ Church Boy's College Baddegama D H Sooriyarachchi, The Principal Rathnasaara College Baddegama S Mohotty, R E S C Coordinator G Mayakaduwa and former CCGS Principal Hemakumari Nanayakkara graced the occasion.
