CID told to obtain instructions

The Colombo Chief Magistrate and Additional District Judge directed the Criminal Investigation Department (CID} to obtain instructions from the Attorney General in connection with Velayudan Dayanidhi alias Daya Master and former LTTE translator Velupillai Kumaru Pancharatnam alias George Master and submit a report to Court on the next date. The two former LTTE leaders yesterday appeared in Court.

They were directed to appear in Court again on March 21.

The Court also remanded LTTE political wing leader Subramaniam Sivagami alias Thamilini till March 21. Suspect Thamilini had been arrested by the Security Forces in Vavuniya on May 20, 2009.
