President’s biography written in Tamil

President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s biography titled Mahinda written in Tamil for the first time was launched yesterday by Thinakaran Chief Editor S Thileinadhan.

Mahinda is a tribute by all Tamils in the country in appreciation of the services rendered by the President to the Tamil people in Sri Lanka.

The elimination of the three decade war was a great relief for the Tamils and it ushered peace, harmony and happiness to the country which all communities are enjoying.

The life story of President Mahinda Rajapaksa from the humble beginning to the President’s house has been depicted in the book.

The great sacrifices he made to bring ethnic harmony has been specifically mentioned. The views of the Tamil people on the President have also been included in the book. The struggles he made to safeguard human rights of the people are also detailed.

The book launch was organized in the presence of UPFA Parliamentarian and Presidential adviser A H M Aswer.
