All leading motor racers in action on February 26

The annual Southern Eliyakanda Hill Climb (Browns Hill Climb) organized by Southern Motor Sports Club will take place on 26 February 2011 in Matara. The organizers were compelled to have few All leading Drivers and Riders are expected to compete at this event as it is considered as one of the events for the national championship.

Accordingly the following schedule will be in force for the event: Scrutinizing of vehicles on the day of the event from 07:30 hrs, The official Start at 09:00 hrs.

The organizers expect the event conclude by 2.00 pm and the awards ceremony scheduled for 2.30 pm. In the previous years too the event has attracted the best in the country where a stiff competition was witnessed. This year too with almost all top notch drivers and riders involved participating in this grand event a close contest is on the card.

All drivers and riders will get the opportunity of having two runs on this grueling track where the timing is vital for all. The best time recorded by the particular driver/rider will be considered when finding the winner.
