LTTE threat for Indian VVIPs
Ministry sends alert messages:
Training at ‘unknown location’ :
Indian Central intelligence agencies have
communicated specific inputs to the Tamil Nadu police that suspected
Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) cadres had conspired to
carry out attacks on VVIPs during forthcoming Assembly elections.

Colombo underworld gang members nabbed in Galewela
Four underworld characters from Colombo who
visited Galewela in a three wheeler to commit the murder of a
resident in the area on a Rs 200,000 contract were arrested by the
Galewela Police along with two suspects who had given the contract
to them on Thursday.
