A specialist doctor from Hyderabad, India is now in Sri Lanka,
training local doctors on advanced nose surgeries, Health Ministry
spokesman said. According to the spokesman, Consultant Physician Dr

advanced nose surgeries. Various nose surgeries have been performed in
Sri Lanka for a period of 15 years. Now advanced techniques have been
introduced with minimum difficulties to the patient.
Dr Meghanad would introduce the latest techniques which could be used
for nose surgeries using endoscopy with minimum external injuries to the
patient.
Patients are said to recover faster when using this method. He
conducted lectures to Sri Lankan ENT surgeons and also performed initial
practical training (surgeries) using bodies obtained from the Colombo
Medical Faculty.
Dr Meghanad also performed a few surgeries on patients at Colombo
National Hospital. Two private companies, Bower and Meditronics had
