Quiet day

The sentiments were quiet in the Colombo Bourse yesterday with plantation and poultry sector seeing price falls.

The ASPI fell 30.76 points while the MPI saw a dip of 25.03 points at the close of the yesterday's trading.

High net worth and institutional interest was seen towards Banking and Finance sector, while most of the retail stocks seeing price declines during yesterday's trading session.

Price losers outnumbered price gainers by 133 to 78.
