It’s Rs 300 m

With reference to our news item titled ‘Chemanex in Rs 65 million joint venture’ which appeared in this page in our issue yesterday.

Chemanex PLC General Manager Amila Sugathapala has informed us that Chemcel (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of Chemanex PLC has embarked on a project worth over Rs 300 million and not Rs 65 million as we had inadvertently said. He has also informed us that there is no Chinese participation in that project.
