Cager finals today

The finals of the Men’s and Women’s Basketball Nationals organised by the Kandy District Basketball Association on behalf of the Sri Lanka Basketball Federation will be worked off at the Kingswood College Courts Kandy, commencing at 2 pm today.

The women’s finals will be worked off at 3 pm preceded by the consolation finals.

The Men’s finals will be worked off on conclusion of these two finals. Part of this Nationals will be worked off under lights. The Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage will be the Chief Guest and he will distribute the main awards along with the President of Sri Lanka Basketball Federation and Chief Minister of the Central Province Sarath Ekanayake.

The Men’s finalists is not known as only a part of the level one of this tournament was worked off in Kandy.

In the championship for women Sri Lanka Schools and Mercantile Services have entered the Semi-finals which will be played in Colombo before the finals in Kandy today.
