Wine buffet at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo

Rarely does an opportunity present itself for those seeking an evening of sophistication quite like the Wine Buffet at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo.

The event has become a fixture in the calendars of many regulars at the hotel and it is no surprise why.

The assortment of wines each month is specially selected by Food and Beverage Manager Faizeen Jameel together with Alpha Orient Lanka Key Accounts Manager Patrick Gregory, both experts in their fields. Eighteen wines are selected each month, nine red and nine white, from vineyards across the world.

The list comprises big names, including Arniston Bay Ruby Cabernet Merlot, listed in UK's Top twenty wine list, Miquel Torres Cordillera, a Gold Medal and Best Value White Wine Trophy winner, Matthew Lang Chardonnay and many others from South Africa, Australia, Chili, France, Germany and Italy.

These wines are complemented by an enticing spread of cheese, asparagus, cavery and canapes.

The Cinnamon Lakeside Lounge is the perfect setting for the occasion such as the Wine Buffet with its plush interiors and ambient music by the hotel's regular pianists.
