Shake it up

The award winning bartenders at Cinnamon Lakeside's indoor and al fresco style bar, 7 Degrees North, have concocted a line of margarita's to impress. Shaking things up this January, the twenty innovative margaritas are an experience in themselves.

Another great delight

For thrill seekers, the 'Red Hot Margarita' is a must try, made of an explosive combination of Tabasco Sauce, pineapple, lime and tequila in just the right balance of portions to make you gulp one down and quickly order another! The 'Chocoholic' originates from a whole other spectrum of margaritas. With Crème de Cacao combined with a cream base, tequila and a chocolate sauce garnish, the margarita tastes true to its name.

The 'Flamingo' is an exotic cocktail, ideal for our tropical isle. It combines melon, lime, triple sec, tequila and basil into a refreshing margarita. For those partial to amaretto, 'Mi Amor' contains a good helping of tequila and amaretto with a hint of lime too. 'Tropicana', with its mango and passion fruit flavour, is another summer time favourite.

An intriguingly bright blue and white margarita named 'Split Personality' contains a mixture of Blue Curacao, tequila, triple sec, lychee and lime juice. Other interesting concoctions such as the 'Cherry Bomb' containing cherry brandy, 'Mocha Margarita' with Kahlua, Bailey's Irish cream and coffee, 'Fusion' with pineapple juice and jalapeno extract, 'Sweet tooth' with white cacao and a crushed cashew nut rim, 'Malibu Margarita' with Malibu, coconut cream and pineapple, the 'Cranberry and Lemon Margarita' with lime and cranberry juice, the 'Avocado Margarita' with avocado, and lime juice, 'Mint Margarita' with crème de menthe, triple sec and lime juice, 'Ginger Margarita', the 'Flaming Margarita' with Samboca, vodka and Blue Curacao are also available.

A selection of Veggie Margaritas complete the selection with a 'Bloody Margarita' made with tomato and lime juice, and a 'Cool Margarita' of celery extract and cucumber, a 'Beetroot and Apple Margarita' and a 'Carrot and Orange Juice Margarita'.

Fans are invited to answer simple questions to avail a 10 percent discount on their margaritas just for January.

Opened at 11 am and remains open through the night until 1 am every morning.
