ASPI hits record

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) All Share Price Index (ASPI) recorded its all time highest recording 7,193.1 points with the market closing high yesterday.

The Milanka Price Index closed at 7,300.68 points moving up by 52.48 points and ASPI closed at 7,193.1 points up by 134.77 points. The turnover for the day was over Rs 4.6 billion.

Laugfs Gas, John Keells Holdings, Hayleys, Environmental Resources Investment, Colombo Fort Land and Building were yesterday’s top contributors. There were ten crossings yesterday from Laugfs (3), John Keells Holdings, Hayles, Sampath Bank (2), Colombo Dockyard, Commercial Bank and Renuka Holdings. Institutional transactions were noted.
