The 18th All Island Schools under 19 and inter-club Seetha Devi Hockey Sevens organized by Seetha Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Kandy will be worked off at the Asgiriya Cricket Stadium, Kandy on January 29 and 30 (Saturday/ Sunday)

The schools tournament will be an under 19 one and 16 girls schools' teams and 32 boys 'schools' teams are expected to participate.

Seetha Devi Balika Vidyalaya won the tournament for girls last year. The championship for boys was won by Christ Church College, Matale.

The tournament for clubs schould attract a large number of teams. The defending champions for the mens' segment was Sri Lanka Air Force. The championship for women too should attract a large number of teams. Sri Lanka Navy won this championship last year.

Entry forms could be had from Mrs. Hemakumari Wijeratne - Principal Seetha Devi BV, Peradeniya Road, Kandy. Entries will close on January 15th, 2011.
