Infrastructure facilities at Galaha, Mahakanda and Hindagala in the Kandy district have been developed under the Nil Gammana project.

Kandy District Parliamentarian Dilum Amunugama said a series of infrastructure facilities and constructions concerning road network, housing, sports and recreational facilities in these villages were improved at a cost of six million rupees by the Government.

A road at Sarasavigama in Peragolla has been concreted installing new street lights. A new community hall was set up.

Four new houses were constructed and handed over to four families under the Diriya Piyasa housing construction project.
