Who you calling :

FAT

While most wild animals around the world die of starvation due to deforestation and pollution by humans, in some places wild animals are lucky enough to be pampered by humans.

Just need a bit of exercise to get rid of my ‘curves’.

This is such a case, where James Phelps from Michigan, America, became fond of wild squirrels and started feeding them. He has one favourite, who has started visiting his garden often and willingly posing for his pictures.

He said, “Most of the photos were taken early in the morning when the squirrel is most active and hungry after waking up. He became used to me being around and probably associated me with food. I set up feeding stations in the backyard and would bring the food out early and than photograph him.” James even started to feed the squirrel himself, and he and his wife think the squirrel is so cute. The squirrel has now become so used to the couple and now waits for them to bring the food out every morning. Thanks to their pampering he has become as fat as a ‘nut sack’.

“After setting out the food, I would get ready to photograph and get the best shots when he would stand and beg for more food or run around and chase other squirrels. He makes a great subject, he has great expressions, curious, and very smart.” he added. James thinks he is the best fed squirrel in Michigan and that’s the reason he got so big. See for yourselves.
