Spice mobiles enters Sri Lanka

Spice Mobiles one of the fastest growing mobile handset brands in India has entered the local market in collaboration with the Expo Industrial Group.

With a customer base of over 10 million users and an annual sales volume of over six million devices Spice has a market share of nearly 8 percent in India.

Well accredited for its superior technology and innovations, Spice Mobile has launched several 'firsts' include the Dual SIM series of phones across GSM, CDMA, Triband and Touch Screen PDA formats.

Spice Mobiles is also the first company in India to introduce the Dual Memory Card Slot (Micro SD Card phones) through its new Intelligent Qwerty series.

With operations spanning across India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonisia and Africa, the company aims to achieve further brand acceptability among all target segments through a broader offering of cutting-edge handsets that combine mobile phone functionality with enriched content and smart device capabilities for greater high-speed voice and data capacity.

According to ABSL (Pvt) Ltd (Subsidiary of Expo Industrial Group) the handsets will be in Sri Lankan market from from January onwards.
