Ashan Formula McLarens 2010 Champion

The Formula McLarens 1300 Championship finals Round (4) was completed last Saturday at the Pannala International Circuit.

Ashan Silva who was in the lead with 58 points from the three previous rounds made sure of the Championship with a victory and runner up position from the two races respectively. These two positions added a further 18 points which took him to an unbeatable 76 point from the four rounds.

The runner up to Ashan in the Championship race was Kaushalya Samarasinghe who had collected a total of 35 points from four rounds.

The Awards ceremony for the Formula McLarens 1300 Championship 2010 is scheduled to be held in Battaramulla on January 08 with a dinner organized by the Asian Motor Racing Club.
