Weerasuriya chief guest

Thushara Weerasuriya was the chief guest at the Trinity College, Kandy Junior School prize giving held at the College Hall. Thushara won the prestigious Ryde Gold Medal in 1986 and also the triple lion in cricket, rugby and athletics.

He captained the unbeaten cricket team in 1986 and also led Trinity to victory at the 'Big Match' against St Anthony's the same year.

He won public schools colours in athletics and also represented the national rugby team as a schoolboy at the Rugby Asiad as a wing three quarter.

He was accompanied by his wife, Champika and two sons for the prize giving.
