War crimes - boomerang

Prime Minister Cameron has stated that an investigation should be conducted against Sri Lanka Government for War Crimes.

We, the people of the independent and sovereign state of Sri Lanka are very much perturbed, disturbed and surprised to hear this nonsensical utterances made by the British PM against the Sri Lanka Government.

Having suffered for over 30 years due to LTTE terrorism sponsored by the West, the whole country, North, South, East and West have started to breathe a fresh air of peace, tranquility and harmony now.

Victims of war

Prime Minister, on what grounds do you use the term War Crimes, when there was no War in Sri Lanka during the last 30 years. The whole world knew that there was only a rebellion carried out by a group of Ethnic Tamil Youth backed by the West against the Government of Sri Lanka. These ruthless, brutal and coward terrorists employed guerilla tactics and killed thousands of innocent civilians all over the country to achieve their aim of dividing the country.

These coward terrorists were supported by Briton, Norway, Sweden, Holland, Germany, Australia and many other Western countries who were hiding behind the veil of Democracy and Human Rights and committed the crime of supplying weapons, funds and international media coverage for the purpose of ethnic cleansing of Sinhalese and Muslims in the North and East to carve out a separate state in this small country of Sri Lanka through their NGO agents. Prime Minister, I am sure you know the meaning of the word “War”.

According to the Webster Dictionary the word “War” is defined as “a state or a period of an armed hostile conflict between states or nations”. “War Crimes” are interpreted as “Genocide or maltreatment of prisoners committed during or in connection with War”. So Prime Minister there were no two nations fighting with each other in Sri Lanka. But from the moment the terrorist groups were backed and supported with arms and other supplies sent by the nations or states mentioned above, this internal conflict was internationalized and became a war to your liking. Therefore this may be the reason that prompted for you to define this conflict as a (proxy) war where the West with the Terrorists on one side and the other Nation (Sri Lanka) on the other side as the definition given in the Webster Dictionary.

I would like to elucidate you as per the said dictionary giving some examples that you could call Wars and War Crimes.

The war between the USA and Allies against Thaliban Afghanistan (innocent civilians were killed by wanton bombing by the USA and allies like you). War declared by the USA against Iraq of Saddham Hussein (innocent civilians were killed by wanton bombing by the USA and allies). War declared by Briton against Argentina over Falkland Islands. War between Palestine and Israel. Between Iraq and Iran. Vietnam War where America committed War Crimes with the connivance of the Western countries.

Now you can understand that there has been no war in Sri Lanka akin to wars like above, other than an uprising by a group of terrorists.

Also I must mention for your information sake that genocide has been carried out not by the Sri Lanka Government but by the LTTE terrorists by killing and chasing out Muslim people from the North within 24 hours and killing Sinhalese people living in North and also killing Sinhala and Muslim villagers in border villages after taking them as prisoners by the LTTE. These people were killed brutally and ruthlessly by hacking them to death even without sparing= the pregnant women who were killed by slashing their bellies and causing the embryos a natural death.

The President of Sri Lanka always said that he has no desire to fight with his own countrymen (Tamils) and he is only fighting with the LTTE terrorists who are terrorizing the country by brutally killing the civilians by blasting trains, busses, vehicles, planes and destroying state property.

During the humanitarian operation conducted by the Government to quell the uprising, the armed forces were specially advised and warned to avoid civilian casualties. When Prabhakarn was about to be defeated the Tamil People who were herded from Mannar to Mullaitive like cattle by Prabhakaran using force, broke their shackles and made an exodus into the arms of the Government Armed Forces for protection and shelter. So Prime Minister how can you say that these people were killed by the Sri Lanka Government and the Armed Forces when these

Tamil people who were the Prisoners of Prabhakaran (POPs) were treated like friends, brothers and sisters and given whatever facility that was available at the time of this exodus. It was the LTTE gang who shot these civilian prisoners of Prabhakaran when they broke the barriers and fences to cross over to the Government side. Isn’t this a

War Crime? So why don’t you talk about the War Crimes committed by the LTTE against their own community?

In 1991 to appease the LTTE the former President R Premadasa shamelessly ordered over 600 policemen to put down their weapons and to surrender to LTTE in Ampara District. The LTTE took all 600 policemen (Muslims & Sinhalese) as prisoners and shot them in cold blood in point blank range having target practice on them. This action of terrorists put into shame and shade the Mai lai incident in Vietnam in 1960s and Hitler’s killing of Jews. Is not this a war crime? Where were the champions of Democracy and Human Rights then?

Recently on a tip off given by a surrendered LTTE terrorist, the law officers have unearthed over 20 buried burned bodies of Government soldiers who were taken prisoners by Prabhakaran and his gang. David Cameron isn’t this a stark naked War Crime committed by the LTTE?

I think the cat is out of the bag. If you were to blame the LTTE for War Crimes, all the Western Countries named above will get caught for War Crimes as you all were fighting a proxy War supporting the LTTE against the Sri Lanka Government.
