Special festive fare to London from Emirates

Valid for travel throughout December:

Experiencing London’s magical festive transformation in December has become more affordable to travellers from Sri Lanka thanks to a special air fare announced by Emirates in Colombo.

Valid for travel throughout December, the special Economy Class fares of Rs 97,900 inclusive of taxes to Gatwick and Rs 100,000 to Heathrow represent a saving of more than 11 percent and also enable travellers to beat the seasonal spike in airfares, the award-winning airline said.

Available for purchase up to December 30, the special fares are applicable on Emirates operated services to the two points in London with the exception of certain flights. “London is one of the most popular destinations the year round, but travel in December is particularly exciting because there is so much more to do and see,” Emirates Sales Manager in Sri Lanka Devika Ellepola said. “London does shine brighter than before at Christmas,” she said.

She said early booking is advised, as vacation travel picks up significantly in December every year.

Emirates operates 21 flights a week from Colombo to Dubai, providing convenient connections with 56 flights a week to Heathrow and Gatwick in London.

All travel on Emirates earns passengers Skywards Miles from the airline’s frequent flyer program.

Emirates also offers passengers a generous baggage allowance of 30 kg, 40 kg and 50 kg respectively on Economy, Business and First Class.
