Badminton coaches receive certificates

The certificate awarding ceremony was held for those who underwent the three day coaching camp at Sri Lanka Badminton Association (SLBA) Headquarters yesterday.

The three day camp for 32 badminton coaches and the two day one for umpires ended successfully, according to the SLBA president. The program was conducted by well-known coaches K A Pushpakumara and Rohana Welagedara.

The badminton coaches and umpires had been chosen from 17 districts and they are to guide and train badminton players and to assist in umpiring matches in their relevant districts using the maximum of what they gained during the program.
