TT Nationals from January 6 to 9

The Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka (TTASL) has decided to alter the dates and venue of the Senior National and Junior National Tournaments which will be held in January.

Initially the tournaments were scheduled to take place at the Jagath Rajapaksa International Indoor Stadium in Peradeniya, Kandy from January 5 to 8.

Due to prevailing bad weather conditions in Kandy, the construction work of the new stadium will be delayed.

So, the TTASL has decided to shift both tournaments to Colombo. It will be held at S Thomas’ Indoor Stadium, Mount Lavinia from January 6 to 9.

More than 670 entries have been received for this year’s TT Junior Nationals while 221 entries have been listed for the Senior Nationals upto date.

Junior Nationals matches will be played on January 6, 7 and Senior Nationals will be conducted on January 8 and 9.
