Notorious robbers arrested

The Polonnaruwa Crime Investigation Division have arrested two most wanted men who were involved in several robberies in the Pulasthigama Police area in the Polonnaruwa District recently. The special police unit also had recovered 11 kilos of gold which had been stolen from the Polonnaruwa police area and several equipment used by the suspects to rob houses in the area.

The two suspects later had been produced before the Polonnaruwa Magistrate and remanded pending the completion of the ongoing investigations.
