MOD to standardize using of Security Forces uniforms

The Defence Ministry has decided to standardize the using of the Security Force’s uniforms by the Security Forces members, Actors and Actresses while they appear before the media, films and Tele dramas, states a Defence Ministry media release. If any person or organization wishes to use the Security forces uniforms in above situations they should obtain the prior permission from the Defence Ministry through the Media Centre for National Security.

The rules and regulations regarding the using of the uniforms have been already imposed. If any person or organization goes against this procedure he\she would be prosecuted.

It is further informed that the using of visuals in the news telecasting with the Security Forces uniforms has not been prohibited by the Defence Ministry.
