Alliance Française De Kotte which is newly established at No. 139,
Jawatta Road, Colombo 5, has been endorsed by Alliance Française in
France as the legitimate and proper institution in Sri Lanka for
teaching French language.
“We are confirmed by Alliance Française in France as the only
legitimate institution of teaching French language in Colombo. Now
Alliance Française De Kotte is the institution with international
acclaim to prepare students for DELF and DALF which are certificate and
diploma examinations,” speaking at a press briefing Alliance Française
De Kotte Director Bertrand Dufieux said.
Going beyond the territories of Colombo, Alliance Française De Kotte
has expanded its clusters of branches to Kandy, Galle, Matara and Jaffna
with the sole objective of teaching French to Sri Lankans who are
willing to learn French irrespective of their ages.

Since Alliance Française De Kotte is obliged to the rules and
regulations posed by Alliance Française in France, it enjoys the
patronage of Alliance Française of France and the Embassy of France in
Sri Lanka and Maldives.
According to French Ambassador to Sri Lanka and Maldives Christine
Robichon said Alliance Française De Kotte is going to teach French to
Sri Lankan troops who are to be deployed in the United Nations Peace
Keeping Forces for the defensive activities in Haiti.
“As Sri Lanka is a country that dispatches troops for United Nations
peace-keeping missions in Haiti where French Language is widely spoken
Alliance Française De Kotte will be offering them the courses to learn
the rudiments of French Language,” added Ambassador when explaining the
projects they are to handle in the time to come. |
