Walking in a winter wonderland

Strolling amid the snow-covered earth, grazing at the snow flakes as
they come floating from the sky, engaging in show fights, building
snowmen and constructions maybe a seasonal activity for those in the
west but it is a special delight for Sri Lankans.

Blessed with sunny climate with regular showers, snow is a rare treat
that they enjoy only if they get a chance to spend a holiday abroad.
Snow is an aspect linked with the festive season. It brings family and
friends together as they take on various activities in the winter
season.
This festive season will be a ‘White Christmas’ and joy-filled New
Year indeed if you enter Excel World. The company’s annual show, Snow
World, was once again launched from December 3 and will be open till
January 2, 2011 from 6 pm.
Enjoy the Christmas spirit with family and loved-ones at the Dome,
basking in its unique ambiance of lightings and location. Live music
will be played in the background and competitions will be organized
enabling visitors to win prizes.
Other attractions comprise Adventura, a kids’ amusement area where
amusement rides imported from Italy are on offer. Adventura comprise of
seven rides: The Pirate ship, carousal, Bee ride, Fancy train, Bumper
cars, Swan ride and 4D Simulation experience of Cinematrix. Naughty
Castle, the largest inflatable bouncing area in the country, includes
two huge colourful bouncers with multi playing activities.

Other highlights include Strikes the twelve lane cosmic bowling
alley, Ground Zero the multi player gaming area and Game Zone the
largest token gaming center in Sri Lanka. A diverse range of food from
different national cuisines is available at the Avenue food court while
the aroma from the Café Latte, the coffee bar will stimulate your
senses. Keg Pub and Restaurant offers dinning facilities for the entire
family.
You can even chill out with your friends at Park Premier which hold
the capacity to accommodate more than 300 people. The Excel World offers
ample parking space which holds more than 250 vehicles.
