Sri Lanka needs a State service sector attending to the grievances of
the masses, said Central Province Governor Tikiri Kobbekaduwa. He
expressed these views at the function held in Udarata Kala Sangam Hall,
Kandy on November 30 while distributing awards and certificates to the
winners of the Central Province State Officers performance enhancement
competition.
Central Province Chief Minister Sarath Ekanayake said every citizen
in the country is entrusted with an exclusive task to succeed the
envisaged development plans of the Government under the leadership of
President Mahinda Rajapaksa. The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude
to the organizers for holding such a performance to enhance competition
among the institutions. |
