Trouble comes in threes
Then the sun peeks out from the clouds. First
one ray. Then another. More sunshine pours over the dark clouds,
scattering them away. Good times are back again. You can smell the
roses. You face life with zest. This is the period that you want to hold
onto time. You hardly feel time ticking. You await the results of each
gesture eagerly
They say trouble and bad luck comes in threes. You enjoy one time in
your life to the fullest while you are burdened by problems in another
chapter of your existence.
This is true to some extent. There are times you find it hardly worth
living. Everything goes wrong for you and you are afraid to pursue
something new, thinking that too would blow up in your face. You are
reminded about the facts of day and night and it even affects your daily
lifestyle. You try to repress your thoughts but they seem to glare out
of the book you are about to read or pounce at you from every corner you
take. New issues are added to your plate and distress weighs you down.
You take a superstitious route and blame it upon the fact that 'this is
just not your time'.
Dark clouds scatter and you smell the roses |
Then the sun peeks out from the clouds. First one ray. Then another.
More sunshine pours over the dark clouds, scattering them away.
Good times are back again. You can smell the roses. You face life
with zest. This is the period that you want to hold onto time.
You hardly feel time ticking. You await the results of each gesture
eagerly. You keep your fingers crossed but have a secret hunch that
things will turn out for the best.
You give a whoop of joy when you receive the good news but cannot
explain the gut feeling you had some time back.
But 'good times' are not here to stay. Every human being has his or
her own share of problems. It is a part of living. It's a lesson we have
to learn in this lifetime and make the best out of every situation. If
you face a horrid experience, remember there are those who have suffered
worse situations.
The fact that you survived it proves that you are strong. You did not
run away from the problem. You did not take the easy way out.
Trouble teaches you to appreciate 'small blessings' and sheds light
on a whole new perspective in life.
