 Christmas eve dinner

The spirit of Christmas will reside at the warmest heart in Colombo, Ceylon Continental Hotel, with an assortment of activities throughout the month of December.

Embracing the significance of this season - a time of giving and sharing with families and communities the hotel will kick off the season by hosting a Christmas party for lesser advantaged children.

The much loved Gingerbread House, a product of previous years, will continue to offer hampers and other goodies this Christmas. Fabrication of this mouth watering masterpiece will begin December 6, and it is slated to open on December 14. Guests can enjoy a festive afternoon tea served at Cafe Conti, surrounded by the resonance of Christmas choirs flowing through the Hotel lobby.

Christmas is a time for cherishing loved ones and taking a break from duties, and Ceylon Continental will be providing families all the traditional Christmas feasts to enjoy together, from the warmth and comfort of the Hotel's Emerald Restaurant.

On December 24 guests will be treated to a quiet repose as they tuck into the Christmas Eve dinner buffet, and feast on the celebratory lavish Christmas Day lunch buffet on December 25. The 26 - Boxing Day will begin with a hearty brunch.

"On 31st night, the warmest heart in Colombo transforms into a Continental Flight, when the New Year dinner dance commences at the Sapphire Ballroom.

The dinner dance will be a dazzling affair, with intricate and glistening decor that will prove a memorable experience, food and drinks representing seven continents complete with the music of first class bands.
